22nd April 2006 (Sat)
9.35am - i was woke up by KC call and he was ALREADY waiting in his car downstairs. Ohh manz.. i bath and rush down to see him in his rented car.. ($230 for 2 days) which i think is super ex !! i won't spend so much money on learning and renting car man.. haa.. but it's something a guy SHOULD learn .. haa then can drive girlfriend around and stuff mah..
10.15am - we was waiting along the road of SX's house and the band is starting their final rehearsal !!! KC rushed from woodlands to yck.. haa .. gotta remind him that we didn't buy insurances !! (although i have) haa..
3.30pm - at the national stadium
we reached early to watch the assessment of concert bands. Hwa Chong School is very good, BETTER than Yusof Ishak Sec who participated in the Central Judging which got a Bronze in the end. Since the last 2 competition, there isn't any bronze for military band. Hwa Chong which is a ex-military band performed very well, music, gimmicks everything is very nice.
5pm - Central Judging
TK was the first to go. No surprise no good selection of music. Only purely their marching. A boring performance as compared to 2004. I was very disappointed. I really looked forward to watch them before the com !! but it turned out like this, hmm .. we were guessing maybe they wanted to cover their standerd for finals !! but TK standerd dropped ... DISappointment ...
Deyi's performance was excellent !!!! but was really shocked that other schoolS is schoolS actually copied deyi's old way of performance from 2002 and 2004 com. Bowen band lost ideas and did 2002/2004 com formation and music lo ! but they shook their butt up to the finals. It's their tradition ! Even TK is doing it this year and most of the bands.
The waiting time for the results to announce is damn long. They actually don't know which other 2 bands to put into the finals. A lot of PingYi/Springfield members fallout and bowen ex-members distributing water around their band.
I'm looking forward to watch the finals !! to see whether TK's standerd actually drop or it's just an act and whether deyi gets the 30k in the finals.
Ohgod,
there I go again.
